My corporate and social sector background and passion to empower children led me to start SoCh in 2010. SoCh focuses on social innovation and service learning programmes, related teacher training and curriculum design to empower children to drive social change. I have been engaged in designing and conducting 100+ school programmes in Singapore. I hold a certificate in Designing and Facilitating Experiential Learning from STADA (Singapore Training and Development Association); Design Thinking for Innovative Problem Solving by University of Virginia; The Tools and Methods for Implementing Design Thinking by Design Singapore Council; Social Leadership Programme designed and conducted by Dean Williams, Harvard Kennedy School. I am keen to share and empower teachers how design thinking is an amazing tool in service-learning programmes. Take your students from being just a volunteer to a change-maker.
